Opt for a room away from the street if you prefer quiet, as noise can be significant from nearby restaurants, especially during weekends.

We very much liked the warm-hearted welcome performance by Claudia and colleagues. We look forward to Act 2 of the play at another occasion. Beware not to over-eat yourself at the abundant breakfast. The nicely decoretd hotel is conveniently situated close to the west exit of metro station Baixa-Chiado.

The truth, what's good and what's not
The location was superb, just a short walk to the Metro and numerous dining options. Friendly staff.
The noise levels were quite high due to street activity, and the bathroom lacked basic amenities like a proper door for privacy.

I have had an excellent experience, this peaceful, clean hotel deserves more than 4 stars. The breakfast spread was enjoyable with cheese, cakes plus pastries. Really friendly staff, gave a lot of information. It had perfect and particularly good location near Chiado. Set in fairly nice area, bars and restaurants were near to the venue.

Staff very friendly. Excellent breakfast. Rooms with a theme-our room was the "Picasso" room which was stylish and funny. Bed was nice, WC and douche clean and nice design. Location very central in one of the nicest places of Lisabon.
sometimes à little too much of breakfast, even when you had had enough another pastry was offered again

The location of Teatro Boutique Rooms & Suites is superb, nestled between the chic Chiado and the vibrant Bairro Alto. The quirky decor added a whimsical touch to my stay, and the breakfast selection was good, with a variety of pastries and fresh fruits.
Bathroom design could be improved.

Staff was very helpful, rooms are well appointed and breakfast was superb.
Breakfast box for guests who leave before the breakfast time is very marginal, I.E. a few sugary pastries, which is a far cry from their superb choice at the buffet. The complimentary coffee should be available to guests as well, which is a standard at other hotels of this class in other countries of the eu.

Charming decor that reflects local culture and artistry.
I experienced issues with the heating system that left the room uncomfortably cold at night. The bathroom lacked proper privacy due to the absence of a door, quite unsettling. Lastly, I found the noise from the street disturbing.

Loved the quirky decor and comfy beds. The location in Chiado made it easy to explore Lisbon. Just a heads up, noise from the street can be a bit much at night!

What a wonderful charming hotel !! It was an amaising cosy little hotel, with very comfortable beds, delicious breakfast and clean rooms. Enrique, a real gourmet, can give tips about where to eat. Hotel staff is very polite and most helpful. All in all, I had wonderful 6 nights in this very special hotel, where I really felt as if I were home.. Thank you Teatro.

Probaby the best service I have ever had in any hotel. The personnel is attentive and kind as can be. They make you feel that they really care about you. The buffet breakfast is superb, worthy of a five-star hotel (I counted a selection of 21 different cakes and pastries, not to mention all the other tasty appetizers and goodies on offer, some of them freshly prepard and served while you are eating). The b&b is in an ideal location in a fairly quite street on the edge of the Barrio Alto with its vibrant nighlife. The rooms are very clean, the beds very comfortable, the showers spacious and clean. When I arrived I was upgraded without any extra cost to a superior double room, which was a good-sized room. The other 2 nights I spent in the standard double room I had booked, which turned out to be fairly small. It would have been nice to have chair and a desk in there to sit down, but there was not enough space for it.

Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff, excellent breakfast & breakfast service, fast wifi, top location.
if you plan to do some work in your room, check for the presence of a desk - there was none in mine; I guess bigger (pricer) rooms might be equippent with.
